FE:A Chrobin Gushing

To add on with a hearty dose of THIS, Robin also makes for a badass action mom. Most of the other children, we don’t know when they’re born. Robin though? Marry her to Chrom and she’s already had one kid when the Valmese Campaign is building up steam.
Not only does Robin refuse to sit back while her husband goes to war, she’s fully ready to jump back into the conflict for the sake of her comrades, husband, and new daughter she only just gave birth to, and hell no she’s not letting pregnancy or any postnatal complications interfere with her destroying those threats to her family. (I also find myself headcanoning that Robin was out with the rest of the Shepherds putting down Risen threats while she was pregnant right up until it was just not viable. AND EVEN THEN she was dedicated to forming strategies while she was off the front lines.) She’s already fighting for one daughter’s future, and when teenage Lucina comes along (in a scene that still makes me misty eyed and reach for the nearest pillow to hug) Robin accepts her as a daughter she’ll fight for and alongside. Her family means the world to her with how far she’s willing to go for them, up to and including giving up her own life. They just tie the different plot threads between husband, wife, children, and the main story together so well.
…Of course, it also helps that Chrom, Robin, and their kids as a battle unit will frequently decimate anything that gets thrown at them. Sucks to be an antagonist on the field.
