FE:A Playthrough Chapter 13

kaysperIt doesn’t help my heart that prior to Chapter 13, Robin/Kickass Female Avatar just had a really tense face off with a man claiming to be her father. A man who in prior years tried to assassinate her husband, her leader and potential sister in law, was fine with killing HER if need be, taunted her with not knowing the truth, then came back from the dead and made a frankly terrifying doppelganger of her to act as a death cult leader. And then she FINALLY had that mental confrontation with Validar right before having to hack her way through an army of the dead in a near Fist of the First Men re-enactment.
I’d imagine that after all of that, having her daughter from the future show up and turn out to be an amazing and kind hero instead of an omnicidal maniac like the rest of Robin’s family was something of a relief. Once she worked through the shock and confusion of it…And then immediately told Lucina that she wanted to be considered her mother instead of something as detached as “milady.”
I just…I have a lot of heart-punching tearjerking feels about this family unit.
