I don’t think I can stress enough how much I love the idea of bitty Chrom being this super bratty kind of petulant kid who just wants to go out and hit things with a practice sword or a real sword. WHO CARES ABOUT THIS BORING BOOK LEARNING AND POLITICS STUFF. Emm is the oldest SHE can handle it! He doesn’t need it! His job is going to be to fight things! FIGHT ALL THE THINGS!

…just look at how well it worked out for his dad.

And while he mellows out as he grows up… there are REASONS why he thinks Emm is better suited to the role of Exalt.
